A Big Find

Check out the Newspaper Archive for a new addition. Straight from the Historic Newspapers archive in London, an original copy of the Daily Telegraph's interview and article on Fluke dated 1991. It wasn't cheap, but the information within was priceless! Give it a read.

Site Under Construction

Hey there, whoever's reading this.

This site is going to be dedicated to the research, compilation and appreciation of all things "Fluke".

This includes Images and Video, interviews and testimonials, records of performances as well as data about her performing career and history.

Who is Fluke?

In short, a lost treasure. Fluke was the performing alias of Ann Pownall, an illusionist, acrobat and contortionist (that barely scratches the surface) who was active during the 80s-early 2000s in the UK.

Due to the internet being exceedingly good at burying/deleting things, and humans not being good at preserving/updating, her ground-breaking work is in serious risk of being lost to time.

Here's hoping that won't happen.
